Day 6

FINISHED DAY 6 slow start, weather great, fantastic support starting with Martin & Maureen Medlar, in the early stage and at Bowness, Irene & Jean with husbands John & Alan saw me at the point of my problem last year, very touching moment total opposite to last year. Then in Bowness Abby was waiting for me more tears as it was an unexpected visit. As I approached the last stretch the Brathay team came out to cheer me in then all the cars started pipping and cheering followed by all the above at the main entrance and more on the finish line plus Abby & Michelle (who beat me again). It was a fantastic day and I am very grateful to everyone for making it so. The physios are working miracles, Aly and Tom had better days. Amy's Mum Wendy has been baking much to the appreciation of all. Paul is coming to support and help the team tomorrow which will be lovely for me, his experience last year will be a great asset to the group. I am planning to watch the apprentice with Steve & Teresa so will have to prep drinks now.
